Plane makes emergency landing at Albany airport ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) =97 An American Eagle flight traveling to Boston from=20 Toronto made an emergency landing at Albany International Airport Thursday= =20 after a warning light indicated a possible fire in one of the engines,=20 airport officials said. At 3:40 p.m. an indicator light came on, prompting the crew to shut down=20 the engine and land the Embraer regional jet, airport spokesman Doug Myers= =20 said. As the two-engine jet taxied to the terminal, another indicator light= =20 warned of a possible fire in the second engine. That engine was then shut=20 down, and the 25 passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and taken by=20 bus to the terminal. There were no injuries to the passengers or the three= =20 crew members. Airport rescue personnel and firefighters who responded to=20 the scene reported they did not find any indication that there had been a=20 fire, Myers said. The plane was towed to an American Eagle gate where=20 mechanics were inspecting the aircraft to determine what caused the=20 indicator lights to flash.
