The BART link to SFO opens June 22nd. It will be interesting to see how
viable that is.

Personally, when traveling to San Francisco on business, I never had any
problems flying into SFO. It was consistently about a 20-minute cab ride
from the airport to the Embarcadero Center (and vice versa) even at rush
hour.

I only took BART to OAK once and it was a little slower than I would have
liked, but I got to the airport in about 40 minutes. I wanted to catch AS
flight 261 from SFO to SEA that day, but when I called Alaska Airlines, they
said it had mechanical problems and was diverting to LAX instead of SFO. I
figured OAK was a better bet. Little did I know at the time. :(
