The VC-10 certainly looks better than the IL-62, and can climb out even if it
loses an engine, which IL-62 cannot.
The 747, especially 400 and SP, is truely the queen of the skies. Even
LH, who seem hell bent against Boeing planes now, calls it that and loves the
planes. They still use -200s as spares. And, of course, the big fast dart
rules the sky
