There was a UAL B720 struck by a goose on climbout from Cleveland (CLE).
The aircraft was IIRC above 10,000.  Returned to CLE and landed. Co=pilot
was blinded by glass.  Don't recall the outcome.  Remember the cockpit crew
is strapped in almost if not all the time.
