Continental to cut summer capacity, reduce jobs CHICAGO (Reuters) =97 Continental Airlines said Tuesday it will cut its=20 summer flight schedule by 2% versus a year ago and trim more jobs to better= =20 match a decline in air traffic. The No. 5 U.S. airline said the capacity=20 cut would result in additional job losses beyond the 1,200 it announced in= =20 March. Continental said two weeks ago it was eliminating 1,200 jobs by year= =20 end and targeting $500 million in annual cost cuts as the war in Iraq=20 weighed on its business.
