Senate Republicans see about $3 billion in air aid WASHINGTON (Reuters) =97 Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and other key=20 Senate Republicans have agreed on the outline of about $3 billion in=20 airline aid, a source familiar with the package said Friday. The proposal=20 includes reimbursement of $900 million for security mandates imposed on the= =20 airlines after the hijack attacks of Sept 11, 2001. Security fees on=20 passenger tickets would also be suspended =97 worth another $900 million,=20 said a Senate Republican leadership source.
