A quick suggestion regarding posting of news articles. I know this discussion has been had several times on both lists and the consensus is that we should just go ahead and send full texts. But it would be nice if we could cut down on the number of duplicate articles posted. We don't need to read two different stories from different sources that ultimately tell us the same thing. If one adds more information than a previous post, that's different. And if two people send an article within minutes of each other, obviously they wouldn't know. But if we can take the time to read through what's already posted, we can save some duplication and frustration on those who aren't interested in that article. What I usually do is as I read the lists or find articles, I write posts but save them to my Drafts mailbox. If I see something else that duplicates what I was going to post I just delete it. Once I've read everything and am pretty sure nobody else has posted what I am about to, I go into the Drafts folder and actually send the posts. -- David Mueller dmueller7@lycos.com http://www.quanterium.com
