Police arrest man with loaded gun inside airport terminal CLEVELAND (AP) =97 A man was arrested Wednesday in the terminal of Cleveland= =20 Hopkins International Airport after police found a loaded handgun and=20 ammunition in a small backpack. Airport security asked Cleveland police to= =20 question Robert Igoe, 30, of Cleveland, and his backpack was checked, said= =20 police spokeswoman Sgt. Donna Bell. A .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun and= =20 ammunition were found, she said. She said an airport security worker who is= =20 a part-time cab driver noticed Igoe because he remembered he had recently=20 been a cab passenger and went to a store to purchase a gun. Bell said Igoe= =20 did not try to pass through a security checkpoint. He was in the terminal=20 near a United Airlines sales counter about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Hopkins=20 Commissioner Fred Szabo said Igoe was at the airport to catch a bus that=20 comes to the terminal building and didn't plan on entering the security=20 area. "I'm confident he could not have entered the secured area with that=20 backpack," Szabo said. Igoe, arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed=20 weapon, was being held for further questioning pending an expected charge=20 through the city prosecutor. Szabo said Igoe "seemed somewhat confused and= =20 was not responsive to why he had the gun and 96 rounds."
