GE Engine Services, GE's engine maintenance business, said Tuesday that the deal covers work on the CFM56-5B engines that power Frontier's fleet of owned and leased Airbus A318 and A319 jets. Frontier is the second-largest carrier based at Denver International Airport. The airline and its regional partner, Frontier JetExpress, offer service to 39 cities. GE will do the engine maintenance work at its Strother Field plant near Arkansas City, Kan. In trading, Frontier shares rose 14 cents to close Tuesday at $4.94 on t= he Nasdaq Stock Market while GE shares rose 10 cents to $23.15 on the New York Stock Exchange.
