Turkish papers report that the doomed RJ-100 was flying lower than the MDA (minimum descent altitude) at the time of the accident in Diyarbakir. The transport minister says that even that was established through the analysis of FDR, they are still not ruling the case as "pilot error".. Let's see, the aircraft is below MDA, there are not reports of malfunction on any systems in FDR, CVR or through the ATC transmission. On top of that the accident is almost a carbon copy of Samsun accident where another RJ100 was written off, and Van accident that killed many passengers and tore a 737 into pieces.. Someone has to teach THY pilots how to fly a non precision approach.. BAHA ACUNER - CFI,CFII,MEI www.bahadiracuner.com www.acuwings.com
