I think this is just gonna irritate the freq flyer in Y class  who paid
$600.-$800. for a ticket  and then has to cough up three bucks for a snack
pack.  Plus the cost of buying and stocking and serving the thing is probably
more than then can make by selling it.
Better off to just give it to everyone but keep it small and simple and
inexpensive like in Europe where you pickup the ' snack bag' on the jetway
when boarding the flt.
