A CRJ 700/900 is getting to be a close match in capacity for the first=20= DC9's! ;-) When it comes to SEA-TAC sightings (and sounds), my fav used to be the=20= BAX Cargo DC-8s retro-fitted with some juicy CFM56s departing at rocket=20= like velocities and departure angles. It's probably more extreme than=20 the departures out of SNA. I always seemed to be disembarking from a UAE EMB-120 arriving from=20 Vancouver when these beautiful DC8s reached for the sky.
