If they are transferring to another flight it would be possible for them
to meet up with the person who skipped through security, get the
gun/bomb/knife and then board their other flight. The security-jumper
then allows himself to be "found" while the hijacking goes on.

Basically, you have to think of the terminal as a secure area. Any time
that secure area is compromised, anyone coming into or going out of the
terminal must be rescreened to allow the terminal to become sterile
again.

They are most likely not rescreening passengers who are terminating
their travel.

Can anyone tell me  the logic of screening the passengers  after the
flight has landed at its destination?  Why bother?  What possible good
can it do anyone? Dennis
