lobbying the government for more aid, the Wall Street Journal reported
on Monday. August revenue was the latest in a series of letdowns. Wall
Street analysts have widened loss estimates for the sector in recent
days. Airlines are turning to Congress for billions by asking for the
government to assume more of the costs for aviation security and
insurance, as well as tax breaks.
