Steve:

British Caledonian operated both the DC-10 and the L-1011.

The DC-10 was operated by British Caledonian prior to the takeover by British
Airways.

When BA bought British Caledonian, BA merged BCal with British Airtours and
Caledonian was picked for the name. Caledonian operated as the leisure dept.
BA also swaped their L-1011 for Caledonians DC-10s which they operated til
about 2 or 3 yrs ago (fuzzy with the retirement year), and I believe they
only had about 6 or 7 of them..
