United Express to Add New Daily Jet Service From Denver to Palm Springs
Nonstop Service Begins December 13th

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 2002-- United Airlines (NYSE:UAL - News)
announced today that United Express will start new regional jet service from
Denver (DEN) to Palm Springs (PSP), Calif. The three new flights begin
December 13, with United Express carrier SkyWest operating two of the
flights and Air Wisconsin flying the third.

United Express will operate the daily flights from Denver to Palm Springs
using the Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ). Known for its convenience, comfort
and speed, the CRJ carries 50 passengers in a two-by-two seating
arrangement; every seat is an aisle or window seat with no middle seats. The
plane can cruise at speeds of 530 miles per hour at altitudes as high as
41,000 feet and is recognized as the quietest commercial jet aircraft in the
world.

"The new flights are great news for the Palm Springs community, which has
been seeking air service to Denver and will give our customers in Denver and
throughout the United network the opportunity to experience more of what
Palm Springs has to offer." said Sean Donohue, vice president-North America.
"The new Denver flights also complement United Express service to Palm
Springs from Los Angeles and Las Vegas."

Service between Denver and Palm Springs will continue year-round, but will
be slightly scaled back during the off-peak summer months.
