11:11 EDT Friday Report: Regional airline to offer St. Louis-Fort Smith flights Trans-States Airlines-American Connection will offer three round-trip flights daily from St. Louis to Fort Smith Regional Airport beginning Oct. 7. The Associated Press reported that U.S. Rep. John Boozman, (R-Ark.) said the flights between St. Louis and Fort Smith would be useful for business passengers in Arkansas who need to fly to St. Louis, but also would ease connections to Chicago, New York, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. American Eagle currently flies from Fort Smith to Dallas-Fort Worth, the AP reported.
