Hey folks, I am back to reading the list after a summer of not being home much. With vacations I was gone from home of my own accord for almost one month spread over June and July. Almost all of my travel was by (*gasp*) car. My wife and I drove over 6,000 miles since school ended in late May. There have been a few developments for my job and the impact is just starting to appear. Among those is the first of fourteen ERJ-145s that will be operated as American Connection in STL, however they will be flown with our new AX code so that they do not fall under the APA/AMR/EGL/ALPA scope clause limitations. So far 140 of the approx 207 furloughs have been recalled and are flying or in training now. Our entire operation moved into a portion of the former TWA Charles A. Lindbergh Training Center. With AAs announcement about downsizing further, I don't know what will happen. All I can say is the seat belt sign is on, the galley items are stowed and hang on for the ride!
