Tobago Express flies high Trinidad Guardian July proved to be a month of high travel for Tobago Express according to a release on its performance figures issued yesterday.The airline said July showed a steady increase in passengers.This, as BWIA cancellations continue. A source confirmed the airline had two cancellations - a New York flight 426 today and another, 427 scheduled for tomorrow. Tobago Express accounted for 32,751 passengers, an increase over 2001 when the total carried was 20,668 for the month of July.The combined service of Tobago Express and BWIA totalled 48,209 for domestic passengers across the airbridge. This registered as an increase of 15 per cent from the corresponding period in 2001 when 41,745 passengers crossed the airbridge."Tobago Express has now scheduled 14 flights per day on the airbridge and has operated 16 flights or more on some days to meet peak demand.
