Hundreds of Air Pacific employees, who had been striking for pay raises and better working conditions, met Wednesday night and voted to comply with the order. Air Pacific was forced to reschedule a number of flights but said it maintained its key touristy routes including those from Hawaii and the U.S. mainland It had help from charter flights scrambled by the Australian carrier Qantas, which has a stake in Air Pacific.
