America West, Hawaiian Airlines in marketing pact Thursday August 1, 4:56 PM EDT PHOENIX, Aug 1 (Reuters) - America West Airlines (AWA) and Hawaiian Airlines (HA) said on Thursday they have formed a code share and marketing partnership. The arrangement allows both carriers to offer passengers enhanced travel opportunities and streamlined customer services across their combined route networks. The new agreement provides for reciprocal participation in each carrier's frequent flyer programs as well as America West's code sharing on Hawaiian Airlines flights that link America West's Phoenix hub with the islands of Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, Kaui and Molokai. The code share and frequent flyer program agreements will become effective on Oct. 11, with customer bookings beginning in September. Roger EWROPS
