Air Canada Launches New Tango Service Today Between Windsor, Ottawa,=20
Halifax and Winnipeg

     WINDSOR, June 17 /CNW/ - Tango by Air Canada will take to the skies=
 today
with daily non-stop service between Windsor and Ottawa with same plane=
 service
to Halifax as well as daily non-stop service between Windsor and Winnipeg.
     A host of local officials, including representatives of Windsor=
 Airport,
the business community as well as Air Canada staff, will be on hand to
inaugurate the new services with festive celebrations including a ceremonial
ribbon cutting and an on-board give-away of a pair of tickets anywhere in=
 the
Tango network for one lucky passenger on the inaugural flight.
     Tango one-way fares on the Windsor-Ottawa service start as low as $89,
Windsor-Halifax as low as $134 and Windsor-Winnipeg as low as $99 with an
additional discount if bookings are made on-line.  These fares represent=
 more
than 80 per cent off full economy fares with no minimum stay or advance
purchase requirement, a convenient schedule and the opportunity to=
 accumulate
Aeroplan miles redeemable for future reward travel.

     The schedule for the new Tango flights commencing today is as follows:

     The Windsor-Ottawa-Halifax and Windsor-Winnipeg services will be=
 operated
with Boeing 737-200 aircraft in a 117-seat one-class configuration.

     Tango In Ontario
     ----------------
     With the addition of new service this week from Windsor and London,=
 Tango
now serves 5 cities in Ontario with a total of 474 flights weekly.

     Tango On the Web and Onboard
     ----------------------------
     Over 80 per cent of Tango customers enjoy quick, simple and convenient

ability to check up-to-date day-of-flight departure and arrival times. =

     Tango at Terminal 3 in Toronto
     ------------------------------
     As of June 15, all Tango flights to and from Toronto operate at
Terminal 3. Customers with tickets for travel on Tango check-in and depart
from Terminal 3. Customers who arrive on a Tango flight in Terminal 3 may
proceed in the same terminal to all other Tango flights.

     The Tango Network - Coast to Coast
     ----------------------------------
     The Tango network expands for summer 2002 to include 23 Canadian cities
with service to Victoria, Vancouver, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary,
Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Windsor, London,
Qu=E9bec City, Montr=E9al, Halifax, Fredericton, Saint John, Charlottetown,=
 St.
John's, Deer Lake and Gander.  By summer 2002, Tango will offer up to 98=
 daily
departures and 686 weekly departures linking markets from coast to coast.
