: US jet stops in Alaska to drop unruly passenger ANCHORAGE, Alaska, June 14 (Reuters) - A Northwest Airlines (NWAC) jet bound for Tokyo made an unscheduled stop in Anchorage to drop off a passenger who smoked in the restrooms, threatened a flight attendant and tried to kiss some of his fellow-passengers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Friday. William E. Mullis, 47, of Savannah, Georgia, was arrested on Thursday after his plane landed in Anchorage, the FBI said. He was being held in a local jail and is scheduled for a court hearing on Monday, I guess he really got sent to the cooler ;)
