Actually had a buddy who is AA plat exec who had this happen - security
pulled him off the plane.

He told the security person that OK....they got him...then he had to call
some person at AA and he told them he was going to give half of his money to
DL and half to AA, whereas AA could have it all.  Would the person on the
phone please explain this to the revenue people because he spends about $50k
per year with AA.

They put him back on the plane and he has not heard from them since - he
still does it....BTW be careful about giving too much detail on the
board...you know who reads/monitors this stuff.

The day American or United start really policing travelers on this they
might as well fole bankruptcy.  The highest mileage customers use this all
the time if
they are incentivised to.  The only people that pay full fare anymore are
people that do not care what it cost and that audience is quickly shrinking.

Has anyone on this list ever seen a passenger denied boarding for a back to
back ticket?
