Chautauqua will begin flying as part of Delta Connection in November with 22 Embraer regional jets by the end of 2003. The move helps Delta Connection carrier Comair retire its fleet of turboprop planes in Florida. Comair will continue to operate a limited regional jet service from Orlando, Delta said. Indianapolis-based Chautauqua also flies as a regional carrier for AmericanConnection in St. Louis, America West Express in Columbus, Ohio and US Airways Express.
