Profiling certainly has merit. One must be careful, however, not to exclude
other travelers. You don't have to have much imagination to use old ladies,
young white females, handicapped persons, and children if screeners and
other law enforcement places their focus on profiles.

Bottom Line: Does anyone think the next terrorist air attack, if there is
one, will you the same cast of characters used in 9-11? I think these people
are smarter than that.

I'm all for profiling.  I am getting damn sick and tired of hearing about
old ladies, young white females, handicapped persons, and children being
subjected extra searches.  How many of the hijackers fit into any of these
categories?  In fact, how many aircraft hijacked recently (i.e. past few
years) fit the descriptions I outlined above?
