Dear Friends There was an article in the Qantas inflight magazine about a new low-cost carrier. Australian Airlines, due to begin operations on Oct 27, started accepting bookings just a few days ago on May 8. Wholly owned by Qantas "but managed separately, operated independently and will not compete with Qantas on any routes", the airline will operate B767-300s configured all economy.
