City Air Services was an airline which was founded circa 1974 and was to take 2 or 3 Yak-40s to operate on (I assume) regional services from Vienna. The aircraft were painted in the livery of City Air, and I think they even visited Vienna, but the airline never started operations. Does anyone have information on the following: 1) Who the backers of City Air were? 2) Why the never started operations 3) Where were the aircraft coming from? 4) Any photos of the Yak-40s exist?
