Re: New fotos - Zip

The irony is that a good part of the fleet for zip are 737-200's that
used to serve for Canadian Pacific (CP) in CP's glorious orange colour,
not too dissimilar to ZIP's orange.

And of course with 737-200's being what they are, with parts being
constantly swapped in and out, we won't see just four ZIP colours, we'll
see fuselage's in one colour, nose cones in another and nacelles in yet
another.

As for the business side, low-cost carrier concepts make sense, but in
this case, on the routes they plan to fly they plan to switch existing
capacity to the ZIP carrier. I.e. fliers of Calgary/Vancouver choose AC
because they are making connections or simply because with a full-or
even-modest fare ticket you choose your departure time (which is every
hour or more.)

Now your are going to inform this customer that they have less selection
of full-service flights, but for the same fare we can switch you on to a
Zippiedoo-dah flight at the time you want for the same fare.

AC got the Tango launch much better, they replaced C3 flights, not their
own (for the most part.)
