Hawaiian still could be a player in the market as they were in the early 70's
and into the 80's if they would go back into the cargo market. At one time
Hawaiian was one of the major players for cargo, believe it or not. Matter a
fact they had LC-188's based in Miami for a few years doing charter work.
And they gave Airlift International (yes Airlift) a real run for their money.

As for Aloha they need to get away from the past and the 737 that lost part
of the fuselage. They should concentrate on the inter-island market and act
as a feeder for Hawaiian. Whereas Hawaiian be the main haul carrier.

If they did that then maybe and I say maybe the both will be both profitable
and also service the flying public.
