France lends 1.2 bln euros for Airbus superjumbo Friday March 15, 3:13 PM EST PARIS, March 15 (Reuters) - France's transport ministry has agreed to extend a repayable loan worth 1.213 billion euros to Airbus France to help develop Airbus's (EAD) new superjumbo, the A380. "The advance has been agreed to at market rates and will be reimbursed as deliveries take place," the ministry said in a statement on Friday. It added it would also help other big firms that had struck partnership agreements with Airbus to develop the plane. Airbus is 80 percent owned by EADS and 20 percent by Britain's BAE Systems (BA).
