(AP) -- American Airlines is showing more signs of recovery from the Sept. 11 attacks -- and maybe a little more confidence in the Reno market. American will add a third daily flight to Dallas June 1 to replace one it cut last April, Reno airport officials said on Monday. The post-midnight red-eye will link to American's first bank of morning flights to the East Coast. This is the latest new service announced by the airport. Earlier additio= ns include a fifth flight to Phoenix on America West starting Thursday, a fifth flight to San Francisco on United beginning March 15, a fourth flight to Portland on Southwest as of April 7 and a sixth flight to Phoenix on America West starting May 1. The new flights have replaced nearly all of those lost since the terrori= st attacks and will put Reno at 82 daily departures as of June 1, one less than it had Sept. 11. "There aren't too many airports that are bouncing back like this," said Krys Bart, executive director of the Airport Authority of Washoe County. American's flight will make three to Dallas -- half what the airport enjoyed early last year when Delta Air Lines also offered three to Dallas. Delta ended its Reno-Dallas service Oct. 31.
