They didn't specify in the release which one would be donated. They have lots of them parked now. I also have fond memories of a couple of DC-9 cockpit jumpseat rides, one of those pre-9/11 treats for a private pilot like me. The nicest one: I was returning bizz class from Thunder Bay. I was the only passenger in bizz class and the stewarde....pardon me....flight attendant, delivered my scotch and said while delivering it "and the Captain has asked if you would like to join him in the cockpit for the landing in Toronto". Now how's THAT for on-board service!
