   The A-300s only went onto the North Atlantic a few years ago,
when AA had to rearrange assets to cover for the premature
retirement of the MD-11s when the latter were sold to FedEx.
Now that deliveries of 777s and more 767s have caught up, the
A-300s can return to their normal habitat, the Caribbean.
That makes sense, as the narrower fuselage makes the B-767
marginally more efficient on long distances, while the larger
belly volume of the A-300 really shines in the Caribbean.
