While at Oakland airport today, I noticed an AS MD80 with a badly = mangled vertical stabilizer. Does any one know what happened to this = aircraft. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the N number. The = aircraft was parked outside of the maintenance hanger. The tail had = holes in it and the area just above the horizontal tailplane looked = pretty bad, too.
