Jan 25, 2002 It was reported from Prague today that a man of Arab descent attempted to hijack a Czech airlines flight flying from Dubai to the Czech capital last Saturday. The man was reported to have threatened a flight attendant with a knife and shouting "Allah Akbar - means the Great Allah" he tried to break into the pilots' cabin but was stopped and disarmed by passengers. The plane made an emergency landing at the airport of Bahrain's capital, Manama, Prague press reported today. The man was flying to the Czech Republic on a student visa. No arms were found on him during the check at Dubai Airport.
