January 24, 2002 3:59 pm EST COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - A 37-year-old man who allegedly got through security and onto a US Airways flight with a knife on his belt buckle was ordered held on $500,000 bond on Thursday.FBI agents arrested Robert Hedrick of Delaware, Ohio, after he arrived at Port Columbus Airport on Wednesday evening en route from Greensboro, North Carolina. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon aboard an aircraft.Officials were alerted after Hedrick allegedly called radio station WTVN in Columbus during a layover in Pittsburgh and said he discovered that he had passed through security in Greensboro with a three-inch knife attached to his belt buckle.A listener called police and agents were waiting when the plane landed.Hedrick appeared in Columbus Municipal Court on Thursday where his bond was set at $500,000. He was returned to jail pending a future court appearance.Passengers aboard the flight were told after it landed that there had been a security problem and that they were not in danger.All male passengers were removed from the plane first and taken to a detainment area where Hedrick was arrested.
