..After a traffic accident in 1970 or so where I broke
my leg, I had a stainless steel rod inserted in my
leg, it is about 10 or so inches in length and about
1/2 inches in diameter (no penis jokes please!), but
it has yet to set off ANY metal detector (thank
goodness) in the 3000 or so flights I have been on
since then!
