CHICAGO, Jan 8 (Reuters) - A 20-year-old man was charged with a weapons
violation on Tuesday after he was arrested trying to board a flig???da with
knives, a box cutter and other suspicious items in his carry-on luggage, the
FBI said.

Agents said Steven Johnson, whose address was unknown, was charged with one
count of attempting to board an aircraft with a ßúú*Ɂ͕Õÿrity
checkpoint sca~úúb¥¡Ñÿ710 for Orlando later that day.

The FBI said his bag contained "several prohibited items, including two road
flares, four pocket knives and a box cutter."

Monique Bond, spokeswoman for the Chicago Department of Aviation, said the
items were clearly visible on the scanner screen and security employees
detained Johnson for further investigation. He was arrested by Chicago
police and turned over to the FBI.

If convicted of the charge Johnson could face up to 10 years in prison.
There was no information immediately available on why he was carrying the
items.
