BWIA celebrates 57 years' service Trinidad Guardian BWIA celebrated 57 years service to Jamaica on December 15 with the commemoration of flight 51 which landed on that day in 1944. BWIA president and chief executive officer Conrad Aleong said the airline remains committed to serving the region now as it did over a half century ago with the inaugural flight.
