This question is better directed to the jackmixdesk folks, as it is not
an autoconf issue.  It may be a case of you having an older version of a
library installed, which is missing entry points that the jackmixdesk
program is assuming will be present, and where jackmixdesk can add an
autoconf test to probe for that situation, but the point still remains
that such a patch would be to jackmixdesk, not autoconf.
