the easiest way to reproduce the problem is:
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/sources/libffcall co ffcall
$ cd ffcall/vacall
$ autoheader --include=..
(since autoconf is installed in a non-standard place, I set AC_MACRODIR).
however, this also works (i.e., does not work):
