You might have to pass to the link the library directory where the libjpeg (compiled for sh4-linux) may be found, as in LDFLAGS=-L/opt/STM/STLinux-2.2/devkit/sh4/target/usr/lib or LDFLAGS=-L/st710x/usr/local/efls/lib or so, dunno, please check where that library lives.
