But it doesn't mean that this command line was created by automake, and not put like this in Makefile.am. I'm sorry, but if this is to be getting anywhere, you will either have to debug this further, or provide more detail to help us analyze it (like providing the automake version used for this package, and all the other stuff that I wondered about in my previous post). For example, you could also post a link to a tarball of the package in question, then we could just look at it.
