removing g++ / g77 checks when using AM_PROG_LIBTOOL

Hey,

what is the best way to remove the checks of g++ and g77 when using AM_PROG_LIBTOOL ?

that one:

m4_undefine([AC_PROG_CXX])
m4_defun([AC_PROG_CXX],[])
m4_undefine([AC_PROG_F77])
m4_defun([AC_PROG_F77],[])

or that one

define([AC_LIBTOOL_LANG_CXX_CONFIG], [:])dnl
define([AC_LIBTOOL_LANG_F77_CONFIG], [:])dnl

or something else ?
