Let's just start with GPLv3.
Then you are committing to not make a release until the exception is
done, which was Ralf's original concern.
checked-in version of the source code already says GPLv3.
Ah. I didn't know that. True, it would be a drag to go backwards.
Well, hopefully the exception won't take *too* long and the whole thing
will be solved.
