-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Two announcments related to autoconf configuration management: First, the old autoconf CVS repository at cvs.sv.gnu.org has been converted to read-only, leaving the git repository as the only maintained version control system for autoconf. The old CVS server remains accessible, so that you can continue to perform 'cvs diff' with any old checkouts you may have, but it is no longer advertised on savannah, and will reject all attempts to write into the repository. Likewise, the CVS web access has been disabled, leaving only the git interface, at http://git.sv.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=autoconf.git, for browsing history online. If you prefer not to use git, up-to-date read-only CVS access is still available via the git pserver: cvs -d :anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/srv/git/autoconf.git \ co -d autoconf master Second, I have created a new mailing list: autoconf-commit@xxxxxxxx The web interface for subscriptions is located at: http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/autoconf-commit Any time new content is pushed to the git repository, an email is sent to this list on behalf of the email address of the committer. This new list replaces the old commit-autoconf list, which fell unused several years ago. The list is moderated, and my intention is to reject any non-commit emails; if you choose to subscribe to the list, replies to a given commit should be redirected to the autoconf-patches list. I have no objections to this list being archived, and have already requested that gmane pick this list up under the read-only newsgroup gmane.comp.sysutils.autoconf.commits - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
