What compatibility issues did you have in mind? Merely making negative claims does nothing towards your cause. I am more than willing to try and improve things that have been done poorly in the past, but in order to help out, I need to know what you would find more useful. Furthermore, open source software is developed on a volunteer basis - the best way to make improvements is to suggest patches, rather than dwell on negative attitudes. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
