I think the problem is simply that autoreconf doesn't yet understand the new macros introduced in Libtool HEAD. I'm afraid I've gotten so used to working around it with a manual libtoolize invocation that I had stopped seeing it as a bug. It is something that should be fixed before releasing Autoconf-2.60 though, or else Libtool-2.0 will need another Autoconf release for proper integration :-( Cheers, Gary. - -- Gary V.
