Note that the user did (mostly) what he was asked to do, although the warning message said to post a bug report to bug-autoconf@xxxxxxx rather than autoconf@xxxxxxxx


If autoconf maintainers don't want to be annoyed by bug reports which are not really the fault of autoconf, then autoconf should be modified to not request it.
